Known for their beautiful silhouettes, high quality silk fabrics and grand trains, Pronovias originally began in 1922 and was first known as "El Suizo." It wasn't until decades later, this Barcelona based designer became known as Pronovias by 1964. They sought to make gowns accessible to all women, which was not the norm during that time. By 1977, Pronovias became international!
Today, Pronovias seeks to continue to remain heavily involved in their sustainability not only through their fashion, but through their packaging, energy consumption and waste! Currently, 50% of their packaging is sustainable and recycled, with the goal to be at 80% by 2025. Also by that time, Pronovias seeks to have 40% of their dresses made from sustainable materials!
